SALISBURY, N.C. Bottom Dollar Food invites customers to enter its Blimpressions Facebook® contest in exchange for chances to perform with the grocer’s piggy bank blimp in radio commercials and also receive $500 Bottom Dollar Food gift cards. The contest ends May 1.
“We wanted to offer our customers an opportunity to have fun and be creative for a chance to share some air time with our piggy bank blimp,” said Bottom Dollar Food Marketing Manager Jaime Osborne. “This contest is simple and we invite our customers of all ages to participate.”
To participate, customers must create their own video impersonating the flying piggy bank blimp while giving their favorite reasons for shopping at Bottom Dollar Food. Next, the customer should upload their original video on the company’s Facebook page.
Three winners will be awarded prizes after the contest ends. Two grand prize winners will be selected, with one picked by Facebook fans and the other selected by a judging panel. Both will win a spot in a commercial and receive $500 gift cards. Camera shy customers can also enter the contest by registering online for a random drawing of a $500 Bottom Dollar Food gift card.
There are no purchases necessary to enter the contest. For a list of full details of rules, go to Bottom Dollar Food’s Facebook page at facebook.com/BottomDollarFood
