Bottom Dollar Food Names Jack Marcy 2013 Store Manager Of The Year

SALISBURY, N.C. — Bottom Dollar Food has named Jack Marcy its 2013 Store Manager of the Year. Marcy, who is the store manager of the Bottom Dollar Food located at 2826 Dekalb Pike in East Norriton, Pa., was selected from among a group of 63 store managers across the company.
“It’s a true honor to receive this award,” said Marcy. “I want to thank my store management team and associates who share in this recognition. As store managers, we create and run plans to serve our customers and keep them coming back. That becomes easy when you’re surrounded by a great team like the one I have at East Norriton, who give Bottom Dollar Food customers a simple, lighthearted and energetic shopping experience each time they come into the store.”
Marcy joined Bottom Dollar Food in 2010 as it entered the Philadelphia, Pa., market and has 28 years of experience in the grocery industry. He resides in West Norriston, Pa., with his wife and family.

Marcy was honored at an annual Bottom Dollar Food leadership meeting, which was attended by his colleagues.
"I’m especially surprised and humbled to receive this honor because of the company I’m in with my fellow store managers,” added Marcy. “Each of them display level of excellence that is worthy of recognition.”
In addition to Marcy being selected as Bottom Dollar Food’s Store Manager of the Year, he was also named the Philadelphia, Pa., regional winner.
Amy Lynch, store manager at the Bottom Dollar Food located at 196 Bon Air Plaza in Butler, Pa., was named as the Pittsburgh, Pa., regional winner.

Tara Joseph, store manager at 7900 Roosevelt Blvd. in Philadelphia, Pa.
Caryn Warner, store manager at 2735 S. Broad Street in Trenton, N.J.
