And the Grand Opening Celebration Continues

The Flying Piggy Bank continues his open house celebration at the new Bottom Dollar Food, 1100 Chartiers Ave. McKees Rocks PA.

The stores hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.

"Earlier this year, we opened 11 stores in the greater Pittsburgh market within two months, and we are very pleased with customer reaction to our first stores in the area," said Bottom Dollar Food President Meg Ham. "We look forward to serving customers with unbelievable prices on fresh produce, quality meats and a variety of private brand and national brand items at our additional locations at McKnight Road in Pittsburgh and at 1100 Chartiers Avenue in McKees Rocks."

As part of the grand opening festivities, Bottom Dollar Food has donated $500 to each of the following schools and public agencies: Sto-Rox High School, Sto-Rox Middle School, Sto-Rox Elementary School and the McKees Rocks Volunteer Fire Department.

Now let's join our favorite flying orange piggy bank mascot and make this opening weekend one for the memory books. Tweet, blog, text, call your friends.

  1. Bottom Dollar Food and Delhaize America are very good corporate citizens. Local schools and organizations benefit from their role in their communities. I am sure that the Sto-Rox School District and the McKees Rocks Fire Department will put their donations to good use.
